    1. Hmm… I just looked in the Western Garden Book and I realize that I don’t know which type of viburnum mine is. I didn’t plant it; it’s one of the few plants that is still here from when we moved here 26 years ago.

  2. We had snowball bushes in front of our house in Iowa when I was growing up, but I don’t remember any colored fall foliage associated with them. As I recall, they simply dried up and that was it. Of course, I was onlly 12 by the time we moved from that house, and it could be I simply don’t remember.

    On the other hand, I just looked to see which variety we might have had, and discovered there are many viburnums grown there. So, who knows?
