Since I have two nephews who live in Juneau and my son worked for a computer firm there for four summers and Paul and I visited him for a few weeks in 2005, I know a bit about St. Herman….You might find this interesting. It happened in Juneau. http://juneauempire.com/stories/081609/nei_482255909.shtml#.Vmz7Er_3hqy
What a blessed event! I haven’t traveled to Alaska, but I have been to Ft. Ross many times and it makes me glad to hear about this joint effort. Thank you for sharing!
I have never been to this saint’s land and it IS one place I would like to see. Think of all that salmon (my favorite food).
There is a cool Etsy maker who makes wooden saints. I gave Mary to one of my friends and she LOVES it.
