Beautiful words. I was wondering if you are affected by the torrential rains there in California. We’ve seen such devastation on the news.

Personally I haven’t seen devastation, nor has anyone I know mentioned suffering, or flooding, or severe wind damage to their property. The areas of my town that are known to be lowlands often do have standing water in wet winters, and they do now, but I haven’t had to drive over that way…
