ETERNITY
He who binds to himself a joy
Does the wingèd life destroy;
But he who kisses the joy as it flies
Lives in eternity’s sun rise.
-William Blake

Did Blake say that for us? I might have thought something almost as true and poetic this afternoon watching the dark birds fly above the redwoods in the blue- blue sky.

I’m going to think about this this afternoon. Thank you for sharing with us.

I do like William Blake’s works…but like Jody, I want to “think about this”. But then He intends for us to always look to eternity, our spiritual inheritance. All that is not eternal is fleeting…

William Blake was one of my favorites back when I read poetry a lot. This reminds me that I like him still.
