An architecture of glistening.

THE RAINBOW

Even the rainbow has a body
made of drizzling rain
and it is an architecture of glistening atoms
built up, built up
yet you can’t lay your hand on it,
nay, nor even your mind.

-D. H. Lawrence

  1. There’s an icon of Christ there that I love! I’ve also wanted to go to Mesa Verde one day, similar to St. Catherine’s maybe. The earth and habitats so beautiful.

  2. Lawrence’s image is striking, memorable, accurate. But there is a missing something. If it is hard to pin down what,  the photograph below contains it, a sort of rainbow which you can’t exactly see, but then you can. Nice pairing!
