What a pretty combination of colors! Every time I see photos like this, I want to grow them, but unfortunately I don’t have enough direct sunlight, even if I used pots.
These are not getting full sun by any means, and are so leggy at this stage that I can’t see the flowers unless I bend the long stems down. Most are spent or damaged by the rain, but all the good ones I keep.
Oh, these are beautiful — so happily blooming. I need to be much more intentional about growing more zinnias. I love them but they struggle wherever I’ve put them.
They are so pretty. Zinnias are wonderful flowers for late in the season. I’m planning to cut the last few zinnias and dahlias here later today and take them to my mom.
Yes! And that’s just what I had left from the previous years, and “threw out” last May. Sometimes the hodgepodge of what’s available for cutting works out nicely!

I bet she liked that! I should have taken some to my neighbor, but I sort of forgot…

Thank you, Ellen! There are still buds on the zinnia plants, but I don’t expect them to develop fully. We’ll see!
