    1. They are so tiny, they’re definitely easy to miss in my messy garden. I guess I wasn’t fond of them myself, because I’d never planted them in 40 years of gardening, until my regrettable
      landscaper suggested bulbs to make up for his failures, and it was too late in the season to find much in the stores.
      But I’ve been watching their grass-like leaves and looking forward to this first flower.

  1. What a sweet little bloom and so early too. Grape Hyacinths have tried to cover my entire front yard and I battle with them every year pulling them out after they finish blooming. So beware of their tendency to spread!!

    Thanks for the comment on my little table. I’m sure my husband found the pattern in one of his Workshop magazines.
