I can’t lose interest

How can we ever lose interest in life?
Spring has come again
And cherry trees bloom in the mountains.

~ Ryokan (1758-1831), Japanese poet, hermit, and Buddhist monk

[there was a picture of cherry blossoms here originally]

Thanks to Maria who gave us a whole month of Spring-y poems!

  1. When I posted that poem they hadn't quite bloomed here in MD where I am until tomorrow, but then we had a warm day, and presto! There were blooming cherry trees all over the place. I think they had already bloomed a little further south in D.C., but I didn't get there this time.
