This story has grown to mean more to me than it used to. I just finished reading “I Will Carry You” by Angie Smith (she was 18 weeks pregnant when she learned her child wouldn’t survive outside the womb, she chose to carry her as long as possible anyway). The story of Lazarus and insights gleaned from it are among the primary subtexts of the book…there is hope there I had not seen before.
