THE EARLY MORNING
The moon on the one hand, the dawn on the other:
The moon is my sister, the dawn is my brother.
The moon on my left and the dawn on my right.
My brother, good morning: my sister, good night.
-Hilaire Belloc

It was a sunrise, yes. I witnessed it and took the picture on one of my early walks in the neighborhood.

This is a perfect poem to read now, nearly two hours before sunrise 🙂 Why up so early? The first round of no power (load shedding) starts at seven o’clock until half past nine!
